Intera Ptuj
The company Intera renovated the building of the former military post officer’s department, built before World War I, and turned it into the first technological park in Ptuj. The barracks building on Vičava was built between 1903 and 1905 (SI_ZAP/0219, Zbirka razglednic). The project of reconstruction was collaborative between our team and conservation specialist Menoni Muršec from ZVKD RS.
Intervention that encompasses the preservation of elements of built heritage and a modern extension integrated into the garden composition, is both a formally and functionally rounded whole. An important part of the composition is represented by the sycamore on the western edge, to which the modern extension provides a balanced design counterweight.
